This post has zero new pieces, a fact that I'm actually extremely proud of. Don't worry, I've found similar items for you to shop (links below!) but it shows that these items have become real staples of mine. All were extremely smart purchases for me to see the value in them years later.
The booties will probably have to be replaced soon, they're looking pretty grungy in the toe, but they were a Target purchase and they lasted three years. Pretty great for an inexpensive shoe. Especially one that gets pulled out of my closet again and again.
The newest piece on me are the sunnies, and I bought them around this time last year. They're probably the most quintessential Miami piece I own... because I've stuck real hard to my New York aesthetic.
Never give up. Never surrender!
Style Notes and Outfit Details
Top via Anthropologie (also love this one) // I always get compliments on this top. The back is really unexpected, and it hits you when I turn around. People will usually come up and ask me where I bought this piece.
Shorts via GAP // My essential shorts. Long may they reign.
Booties via Target (similar) // As I said, these will need to be replaced soon, but I wear them with everything from super rock n' roll looks to ultra-femme frocks.
Sunglasses via NastyGal (similar) // I'll usually pull out a pair of sunnies and wear them for a few days straight, and these ones came with me to Lakeland. I needed to add a little Miami flare to that sleepy little town.
